Denver Broncos' Demarcus Ware Held Out Of Rainy Practice - Espn

" I'm planning to go watch tape to see what D-Wade did when he played with LeBron. I need to learn how to be effective out there with him. " -- Dion Waiters At times Waiters and Irving have had issues just sharing between themselves during their two seasons together. Last season, coach Mike Brown ended up moving Waiters to the bench so he could get more time as the featured ball handler. The Cavs were underwhelming with this setup and now will have to deal with things getting diluted further.
Source: http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/11286427/kyrie-irving-dion-waiters-adjust-games-lebron-james

Team Report - NEW ORLEANS SAINTS - Yahoo Sports

--To no one's surprise, the Saints chose to exercise the fifth-year option for 2015 on defensive end Cameron Jordan 's contract on April 21. Todd Mayo leaves Marquette Golden Eagles to pursue professional basketball career - ESPN

The Golden Eagles finished 17-15 last season and missed the NCAA tournament after being picked in the preseason to win the Big East. Williams left in March to take the same job at Virginia Tech. Mayo would have been counted on to provide a veteran presence for Marquette, which also lost four seniors who averaged at least 18 minutes a game. Wojciechowski, a former assistant at Duke, retained the commitment of freshman forward Sandy Cohen and added guard Matt Carlino , a senior transfer from BYU. Center Luke Fischer, a transfer from Indiana, isn't eligible until after the first semester ends.
Source: http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/11288782/todd-mayo-leaves-marquette-golden-eagles-pursue-professional-basketball-career

What's The Matter With Jim Brown?

"You are in my home," he says. "That puts you at a disadvantage." Even now, 21 years later, still looking for the edge. For nine seasons from 1957, his first year with the Cleveland Browns, through 1965, when he abruptly retired, Brown played football exactly the way he wanted to. If he disagreed with the calisthenics his coaches prescribed, he didn't do them. If he believed he knew the game better than his head coach, he gave his linemen his own set of instructions. "If I score a touchdown," he would tell them, "nobody will care. If I don't, I'll take the heat." No other running back has come close to duplicating his accomplishments. Certainly nobody has matched his view site... 5.2 yards per carry, or his average 104.3 yards per game.
News source: http://thestacks.deadspin.com/whats-the-matter-with-jim-brown-1636247285/+tcraggs22

6 Truths About Exercise That Nobody Wants To Believe - Yahoo Fin

Start light and train for volume before intensity. Ask most people if they had a good workout and theyll say things like, Oh yeah, it was so intense. Or, Im going to be so sore tomorrow. Or, I finished my workout by doing a set to failure. Its great to push yourself, but the biggest mistake that most people make is not building a foundation of strength. Everyone wants to jump in and max out with a weight that is hard. Thats exactly the wrong way to do it. Your workouts should be easy in the beginning. (See: How to Start Working Out .) Training to failure is a good way to wear yourself down, not build yourself up.
Source: http://finance.yahoo.com/news/6-truths-exercise-nobody-wants-160000413.html

Josh Brent, Formerly Of Dallas Cowboys, Can Return In Week 11 Wi

So much, it turns out, that they've become part of his offseason workouts. Lynch's love affair with the sugary treat goes back several years. He's previously sported taste-the-rainbow cleats, had a custom Skittles jersey made, been pelted with Skittles as a show of respect by Seattle faithful, and CenturyLink Field even includes a side of Skittles with its Marshawn Lynch burger. In case you're wondering (and you almost certainly aren't) Lynch, who got $6 million guaranteed in his latest deal, could buy 24 million ounces of Skittles with that money. I'm a realist, man. Don't get caught up in, 'We love you.' Get caught up in, 'I've got a second chance. Do I love myself?' That's who you've got to love. Cowboys' Josh Brent reinstated, suspended for 10 games | Boston Herald

He won't be allowed to visit the team's practice facility for the first six weeks except to meet with people associated with his rehab. The 26-year-old Brent must have ''no further adverse involvement with law enforcement'' and faces potential banishment for what the league called ''prohibited alcohol-related conduct.'' Brent can start attending meetings and doing individual workouts in Week 7, but can't practice or travel with the team. He can begin practicing two weeks after that. If he meets all the conditions, Brent's first possible game is Nov.
Source: http://sports.yahoo.com/news/cowboys-brent-reinstated-suspended-10-221123035--nfl.html

Brent was mostly a backup in three seasons with Dallas, but was starting in place of the injured Jay Ratliff at the time of the crash. The Cowboys took a step toward replacing Ware by moving up to get defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence in the second round of this year's draft, but the rookie will start on the season on short-term injured reserve with a broken right foot. Lawrence can't start practicing until after the sixth game and can't play until Week 9 against Arizona on Nov. 2. Dallas filled Lawrence's spot by signing defensive end Jack Crawford, cut by Oakland last week, to the active roster.
Source: http://bostonherald.com/sports/patriots_nfl/nfl_coverage/2014/09/cowboys_josh_brent_reinstated_suspended_for_10_games

Rusney Castillo questions answered - Yahoo Sports

There's no guarantee that it becomes actual. And unlike first-round draft picks from the amateur draft or young international free agents, there's nothing stopping a club from giving him a lot of money.
